Dr.HATHIBELAGAL ROSHAN

Dr.Roshan is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering, has a Masters Degree in Foundry Science and Engineering and a Ph.D degree in Metallurgy. He was associated with Indian Institute of Technology, Madras for 27 years during 1967 to 1993 as a faculty member and was the Professor and Head of Metal Casting Division at the Department of Metallurgical Engineering

Dr.Roshan joined Maynard Steel Casting Company in Milwaukee, USA in 1993 and served as the Technical Director, Director of Quality and presently works as the Chief Metallurgist. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

Dr.Roshan was recognized with the National Metallurgists Day Award in the year 1980 by the Ministry of Steel and Mines, Government of India for his contributions to the Metallurgical Education and Research in Metal Casting.

Dr. Roshan is actively associated with the AFS and is the recipient of the AFS Award of Scientific Merit in the year 2001, AFS Thomas W. Pangborn Gold Medal in 2007 and CMI Directors Award in 2007.

Dr.Roshan has over 100 technical publications to his credit in Indian, American and International Journals.
